Valerie Gonzalez

Founder of Daughters with Destiny, known today simply as Hijas, a ministry of healing and laughter focused on closing the gap between the generations. Through monthly breakfast gatherings and annual conferences faith has been imparted to countless women. She is the proud wife of Bishop Herson Gonzalez and a mother of two Herson Jazz and Melody Angelique. In Oct 2003, together with Bishop Gonzalez they founded Calvary Worship Center in Woonsocket, RI. One of the driving core values of Calvary is building a strong community. Her faith has been mainly inspired by the the legacy left behind by her late grandmother Missionary Juanita Ramos as well as the exemplary lives of her parents Victor and Mildred Carrasco.
